The most significant evolution of the 3 Series platform to date, featuring redesigned acoustics, new Class D amplification, simplified room optimisation and integrated mounting options for modern music, video and content creation environments.

JBL Professional has announced the new 3 Series MkIII family of powered studio monitors, representing the most comprehensive update to the popular range since its introduction. The lineup includes the 305P MkIII, 306P MkIII and 308P MkIII powered studio monitors, alongside the new 310S MkIII powered subwoofer.
Designed to support a wide range of production environments, from compact stereo workstations through to 2.1, surround and immersive monitoring systems, the 3 Series MkIII introduces a number of significant acoustic and performance enhancements.
A newly engineered high-frequency driver works with an updated JBL Image Control Waveguide to deliver a broader listening area and more consistent stereo imaging across the workspace. The redesigned low-frequency drivers feature stiffer cone materials, improved magnet structures and aluminium shorting rings to increase power handling while reducing distortion. A front-firing JBL Slipstream™ port helps maintain predictable bass performance, particularly in desktop and near-wall installations.
The MkIII range also transitions to new Class D amplification, providing higher output capability, greater headroom and lower noise performance. Connectivity is simplified through balanced Neutrik® combo inputs and selectable +4 dBu / -10 dBV input sensitivity, making integration straightforward with common studio interfaces, mixers and playback devices.
To assist with speaker placement in a variety of environments, each full-range model includes four one-touch room controls offering 81 EQ correction combinations. These settings allow users to compensate for placement, wall proximity and frequency response preferences without requiring additional calibration software or complex configuration processes.
Integrated mounting points are included on all full-range models, providing flexibility for wall, ceiling and monitor-arm installations. This makes the MkIII family equally suited to stereo production, multi-channel surround systems and immersive audio monitoring applications.
Completing the range, the new JBL 310S MkIII powered subwoofer extends low-frequency performance down to 26 Hz and includes selectable crossover options together with external bass-management bypass functionality for flexible system integration.
The JBL Professional 3 Series MkIII family will be available from November 2026 across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa with North America availability beginning January 7, 2027.
