Designed for demanding high-density RF environments, the D50 Digital UHF Wireless System delivers exceptional flexibility, scalability, and performance across corporate AV, education, government, houses of worship, theatre and live sound applications.
Audio-Technica has introduced its new D50 Digital UHF Wireless System at InfoComm 2026, delivering a powerful new wireless platform designed for high-density RF environments across corporate AV, education, government, houses of worship, theatre, and live sound applications.
Built on decades of Audio-Technica’s expertise in digital wireless technology, D50 has been developed to address the practical needs of both integrators and end users. The system combines enhanced RF stability, exceptional battery life, premium build quality, and scalable architecture to support the demands of today’s increasingly complex wireless deployments.
Designed to maximise rack-space efficiency, D50 supports up to eight channels of Dante® audio networking within a single rack space, while providing integrated DSP capabilities and high-fidelity audio performance. The platform has been engineered to deliver reliable operation, flexible deployment options, and simplified system expansion for a wide range of professional applications.
To support challenging RF environments, D50 offers up to 224 MHz of tuning bandwidth (region dependent), providing greater flexibility for channel planning. Switchable antenna combining diversity and maximal ratio combining (MRC) true diversity modes enhance signal reliability, while high-density mode enables up to 63 simultaneous frequencies within a single 8 MHz TV channel.
The receiver platform is available in a compact half-rack format and comes in either a two-channel version featuring Audio-Technica Link or a four-channel Dante®-enabled version. Both support 96 kHz audio performance, redundancy features, and PoE+ power.
The D50 transmitter range includes handheld, bodypack, and gooseneck base models, all designed to deliver outstanding durability and extended battery life. Handheld transmitters also support Audio-Technica’s interchangeable Artist Elite® microphone capsules, offering users a range of proven capsule options to suit different applications and performance requirements.

Additional features include onboard spectrum analysis, AES256 encryption, integrated DSP processing, and Wireless Manager software for comprehensive monitoring and system control. Together, these capabilities provide a robust and future-ready wireless solution for professional AV and live sound environments.
Christian Bethin-Kittel, Product Manager EMEA says “We spent a lot of time talking to integrators, sound engineers and other users working in demanding environments to develop the D50 series. The result is a great-sounding wireless solution that is extremely powerful, compact and allows highly flexible channel planning.”
The D50 Digital UHF Wireless System represents Audio-Technica’s latest advancement in professional wireless technology, delivering the performance, flexibility and scalability required for today’s high-density RF environments.
