JBL 305P MkIII brings the full 3 Series MkIII redesign to the most compact monitor in the family. It is built for tight production spaces — project studios, home studios, desks, edit bays, podcast rooms, and creator workstations — where space is limited but monitoring decisions still need to translate.
The new high-frequency driver works with a re-engineered JBL Image Control Waveguide to create a wide, consistent listening area with precise stereo imaging. That means the 305P MkIII is not limited to one narrow sweet spot, which is especially useful on small desks, shared workstations and multi-screen setups.
Low-frequency performance has been improved as well. The new 5-inch woofer uses stiffer cone materials, and a new 20 oz magnet assembly and aluminum shorting ring provide cleaner output with lower distortion.
Bass extends down to 45 Hz, and the front-firing JBL Slipstream port helps the low end stay more predictable when the monitor is placed near a wall or surface.
A new 86-watt bi-amplified Class D amplifier provides clean output up to 109 dB peak SPL. A balanced Neutrik combo input jack accepts XLR or TRS, with selectable +4 dBu / -10 dBV sensitivity for easy integration with common studio gear.
The 305P MkIII also includes 81 corrective EQ combinations from four one-touch controls. Users can adjust the speaker’s acoustic performance to compensate for placement, wall distance and HF/LF balance without complex dip switches or software.
Eight integrated M4 mounting points in a 75 x 75 mm pattern are included, so the 305P can start as a desktop pair and later become part of a 2.1, surround or immersive setup.
