The D Cerno AE is the central control unit at the heart of the D Cerno digital conference system, designed for small to large conference facilities. It combines plug and play installation with advanced audio processing and hybrid meeting capabilities in a compact, rack mountable or tabletop form factor.
D Cerno AE supports seamless hybrid meetings through a single USB connection, creating an instant speaker and microphone interface for platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. No additional interface boxes are required. Dual USB ports, analogue audio I/O, and network based AES67 provide flexible connectivity for integration with third party AV systems, DSPs, and recording solutions.
A built in web server with an intuitive interface enables fast system configuration, monitoring, and control. Optional D Cerno Advanced licensing unlocks extended functionality, including user roles (Technician, Operator, Chairperson, and Signage), recording, custom audio routing, multichannel USB audio, AES67 integration, and enhanced DSP configuration.
Discussion units connect via shielded CAT5e cabling using daisy chain or loop topology. Up to 50 units are supported in stand alone mode, expandable to 250 units with additional D Cerno NEXT devices. Loop redundancy ensures continued operation in the event of a cable disconnection.
Recording is supported via internal storage or an external USB flash drive, with single button operation on the front panel. The fan less design ensures silent operation, making D Cerno AE suitable for extended use in meeting rooms and conference environments.
