MID RFID Badge
The MID RFID Badge is a blank badge that combines MIFARE Classic or MIFARE DESFire EV1 contactless smart card technologies for credential-based applications. The card is customizable and suited for sublimation printing. It is also strong, flexible and resistant to damage, and can be carried with credit cards.

Why do you need RFID Authentication?
With authentication, it's possible to automatically identify users on devices like voting terminals or conference microphones, enabling access control based on their credentials. In meeting environments, this supports features such as automatic nameplate display, accurate vote tracking, seamless participant sign-in for flexible seating, and reliable metadata generation for documentation or live-streaming.

Why do we use RFID technology?
RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) is a wireless technology that enables participant identification, authentication, credential-based rights management, free-seating meeting modes, automatic nameplate population, and metadata generation. It works using three main components: an RFID tag (which contains a microchip and antenna), a reader, and an antenna.

RFID is commonly used in systems like inventory management, contactless payments, and security due to its fast scanning capabilities, ability to read multiple tags simultaneously, and no requirement for line-of-sight.
