The DISTRO5 HDR is part of RF Venue’s new High Dynamic Range (HDR) Series, delivering reliable, high-performance RF distribution for all wireless microphone systems operating across the 470–698 MHz band. Building on the proven success of the DISTRO4, the DISTRO5 HDR provides enhanced RF performance in a compact half-rack form factor, making it the ideal solution for both fixed and mobile production environments.

The patented Diversity Fin® (DFIN) is a multi-purpose antenna for wireless microphones that reduces dropouts using a cross-polarized, hybrid design. It combines one LPDA and one dipole antenna in an orthogonal (right angle) configuration. One element captures vertically polarized waves, and the other horizontally polarized waves—doing the same job as two “shark fin” paddles while greatly improving RF and audio performance.

To use, just connect both the A and B outputs on any antenna distributor or microphone receiver to one DFIN and point toward the stage.
