STEP 1
An Auracast™ transmitter begins an Auracast™ broadcast that includes advertisements, which provide Auracast™ assistants with information about the broadcast (e.g. name, content, codec configuration, etc.), as well as one or more audio streams (e.g. left and right stereo audio streams).
STEP 2
Auracast™ assistants scan for Auracast™ advertisements and provide a user interface (UI) to enable users to select an Auracast™ broadcast to join, similar to the UI commonly used to connect to Wi-Fi networks in public spaces.
STEP 3
Once an Auracast™ broadcast is selected, the Auracast™ assistant provides the Auracast™ receiver (e.g. headphone, earbud, hearing aid, etc.) the information it needs to join the Auracast™ broadcast.

Harman Luxury Audio Group has announced that its new JBL DA Series distribution amplifiers are now available in New Zealand.
Designed to pair seamlessly with any JBL architectural loudspeaker or other residential loudspeakers, the DA850 (8-channel) and DA1650 (16-channel) deliver four and eight zones of audio respectively, in a compact 1U chassis. Both models offer bridgeable outputs to handle high-power demands.
Each channel of the DA850 and DA1650 delivers 50W into 8ohm loads and 110W into 4ohm loads. When bridged, the output increases to 185W into 8ohm loads.
The amplifiers also offer flexible audio routing: each zone can have its own independent audio source, or a single source can be shared across all zones via the global audio input. Zones sharing a common source can be expanded across multiple amplifiers using the global audio output.
The DA amplifiers come with three power mode control options – 12V trigger, audio-sensing inputs, and always on – and feature protection against overcurrent and thermal issues to prevent potential speaker damage. Additional features include local and bus inputs, as well as channel output level controls.

This is the latest enhancement to the N2600 Series and brings Dante AV-A support to an encoder and decoder wallplate for the first time. The N2600 Series combines affordability and versatility making them ideal for colleges and universities, corporate, casinos, hospitality, government or just about any streaming application.
All N2600 models feature support for a high-quality, extremely low-latency 4K60 4:4:4 MWC codec that is perfect for transmitting both live video and detailed content. N3300 Series
HARMAN Professional Solutions, the global leader in audio, lighting, video and control systems, announced its new AMX SVSI N3300 Series Encoders and Decoders at ISE 2024. The feature-rich series offers greater streaming flexibility and interoperability, and is ideal for almost any streaming application but is especially applicable for colleges and universities, casinos, courtrooms, hospitality, and government applications.
The N3300 Series delivers the highest quality 4K60 H.26x and Dante AV-H video content at the lowest bandwidth to extend the reach of SVSI 4K60 networked AV solutions to the WAN for streaming, video to desktop, digital signage, set-top boxes, or mobile device applications.
In addition to transmitting HDCP content from N3300 Encoders to Decoders, they also feature recording of video to a USB 3.0 external drive on encoders, video preview images viewable from the built-in web interface or from a touch panel, and enhanced support for high-security networks. N3300 Encoders simultaneously output up to 4K60 H.26x or Dante AV-H on the primary stream and a high-compatibility H.26x secondary video stream to provide design flexibility and the most compatible options for remote viewing or recording.

JBL Venue Synthesis
JBL Professional’s JBL Venue Synthesis acoustic simulation software is a free desktop application that allows users to design and simulate acoustic coverage and prepare complete JBL sound reinforcement systems for rigging or installation in any environment at any scale, in both 2D and 3D.
Venue Synthesis introduces the ability to run three-dimensional acoustic predictions, simulate acoustic performance for complete systems and validate equipment for safe, secure rigging. Users can create or import 3D venue models, interact with realistic 3D models of JBL Professional loudspeakers and accessories and predict coverage on any plane for a full system of JBL products.
JBL Venue Synthesis will replace JBL Line Array Calculator.
AMX DXLink 4K60 HDMI Wallplate Transmitter
The AMX DXLink 4K60 HDMI Wallplate Transmitter is a 4K60 4:4:4 capable distance transport solution with support for HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2. It transmits audio, video, and USB 2.0 over one shielded Cat6A or Cat7 standard twisted pair cable. The Transmitters are perfect for sending HDMI and control signals over long distances to remote DXLink 4K60 Receiver Modules or other compatible AMX Receivers such as the DGX DXLink 4K60 Twisted Pair Input Board or DVX 4K60 All-In-One Presentation Switchers.
The DXLink 4K60 HDMI Wallplate Transmitter can be mounted in walls, lecterns or floor boxes to connect guest equipment and send audio and video signals across the meeting room or to a classroom down the hall. Since it can be powered locally or remotely, the wallplate can be installed virtually anywhere.
AMX HydraPort USB-C modules
Three new AMX HydraPort USB-C modules are available to ensure that modern conference spaces and users have all the connectivity options needed to empower impactful meeting space collaboration. A new USB-C to HDMI Module with Retractable Cable provides a dedicated video connection for outputting content from laptops and mobile devices to in-room video networks. AMX MUSE Automation Controllers are powerful, secure, and reliable devices that provide a dedicated computing resource running HARMAN Professional’s AMX MUSE automation platform. They can simultaneously process a virtually unlimited number of scripts written in JavaScript, Python, or Groovy and natively support Low-Code development with Node-RED.
AMX MUSE Automation Controllers feature a modern embedded processor that’s 10x faster than the processor in AMX NX Controllers, bountiful memory, and rugged, industrial grade eMMC storage. Built on HARMAN’s secure Linux platform, MUSE controllers are designed to surpass the requirements of the most secure installations. Additionally, these Controllers natively support HARMAN’s HControl (open-API), HiQnet (legacy HARMAN audio devices) and ICSP (legacy AMX control devices) protocols, making them the ideal automation processor for any space, environment, or application – old and new.
